The world's fastest man Wing Commander Andy Green OBE BA RAF, holder of the land speed record at 763.035 mph, made his circuit racing debut in the Lotus-on-Track Elise Trophy, at Snetterton on June 14th 2009. Andy's participation in the event was to promote the Bloodhound SSC project in which he intends to set a new record at over 1000mph.

With the painting 'First Blood', auctioned to raise funds for the project

and now in the collection of Paul Golding, owner of this Lotus Elise.
