Archie' Scott Brown in the Lister Jaguar 'MVE 303' winning the Stanley Sears trophy race at
Snetterton on May 19th 1957. One of many victories for the Cambridge based trio of Archie,
Brian Lister and engine builder Don Moore at their home circuit. The Scot was a remarkable
driver, severely handicapped from birth who overcame his difficulties to become one of
motor racing's all time greats.

  The original painting was commissioned by Steve Bradley, Cambridge UK. Now in the
collection of JD Classics, Maldon Essex. Acrylics on board 40 x 30in (101 x 76cm).
