In 2002 both Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill drove the Minardi 2-seater F1 car, giving
high speed passenger rides. Michael hired the car for a day at Fiorano and had the car painted
Ferrari red, wearing plain white overalls and a black helmet. He gave close team personnel and
his wife and friends rides around the Ferrari test circuit. Minardi boss Paul Stoddart also took
the opportunity to see Michael's skills close up from the passenger seat. Damon Hill drove at
Donington Park in the 'Thunder in the Park' F1x2 demonstration race.
Paul Stoddart owns the
original painting, displayed in his office in Ledbury UK.
