Many top drivers started their careers racing in Formula Ford and competed in the famous
Formula Ford Festival. This montage shows some of the winners from the first 25 years
of the event at Brands Hatch, from 1976 - 2000. Included are Derek Daly, Don MacLeod, Roberto Moreno, Julian Bailey, Andrew Gilbert-Scott, Johnny Herbert, Roland Ratzenberger, Eddie Irvine, Dave Coyne, Jan Magnussen, Jason Watt, Mark Webber, Jenson Button and Anthony Davidson.
Also shown are runners-up Rick Morris and Danica Patrick.

  The original painting was commissioned by a consortium of people involved in Formula Ford, instigated by Mike 'Fulmar' Taylor. Van Diemen International, Haywood Racing and Solus Engines also contributed. The painting was presented to the 'voice of Brands Hatch' Brian Jones, to commemorate his 25th Festival commentary, at the prize giving ceremony for the 2000 event. Formula Ford veteran Rick Morris made the presentation to a (for once) speechless Brian!
