Geoff Friswell in his March 73B Ford BDA-Hart, has just taken the lead from Colin Vandervell's
similar car, with David Purley, John Nicholson and Stan Matthews giving chase.
Depicted through the Esses on the old 2.71 mile Snetterton circuit, 'Fris the Whizz' won the
15 lap race at an average speed of 113.46mph.
