'JD Classics Mural'

Derek Hood of JD Classics in Maldon, Essex UK commissioned this montage mural to decorate

the end wall to his impressive showroom of mouth watering classic Jaguars. It is painted in three 

sections, divided by the two building support pillars. The left hand section features the early SS 

and XK competition cars, the centre section 1950s and 60s race cars and the right hand section 

1970s & 80s touring cars and the Group C racers. The mural is painted on fifteen MDF wooden 

panels, size 8ft x 4ft (18mm thick) which are screwed to the wall and may be moved should JD 

Classics change premises. The total length of all three wall sections is 55ft x 8ft 4in. (16.8m x 

2,6m)
