'Formula Ford 1978'
Andrew worked at Royale Racing during the college holidays and weekends in 1978, helping the team with the works Formula Ford Royale RP24 of Kenny Acheson. Kenny won all three major FF Championships, switching to the new Pat Symonds designed RP26 later in the season. Here he is shown winning at Oulton Park in the RP24. Another fantastic season working with Kenny, mechanic Paul Thompson and new Royale designer Pat Symonds, now with the Renault F1 team.
