The North American tour was complete with a second victory at Indianapolis just one week later in the US Grand Prix. A stunning debut season for Lewis with the Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes team in which he became the most successful 'rookie' in Formula 1 history, finishing as runner-up in the World Championship.
