Brazilian world champions
Fittipaldi , Piquet and Senna all competed at Cadwell before stardom
in Formula One. Here Nelson Piquet
wins the 1978 event from a chasing Tiff Needell, 'taking off'
over the famous 'mountain'.
Painted in 1989, Andrew provided the original on long term loan to
Cadwell where it hangs to this
day. It was displayed in the circuit bar for many years and now
in the circuit reception area.
