'Gerrit's Festival'
The sorely missed Gerrit van Kouwen winning the 1984 Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, in his Lola-Minister T644E. Printed on the programme cover for the 2024 Festival, 40-years on from the Dutchman's famous win.

'Wheeler's Win'

'50 Years of the
Formula Ford Festival'
1980 Festival winner Roberto Moreno returned to compete in the 2021 event, the 50th running of the famous Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch. His Van Diemen RF80 adorned in his winning livery leads the winner of the final, Jamie Sharp. Commissioned for use on the front cover of the 50th anniversary book. Acrylic on Board

'Formula Ford Festival 50'
The 50th running of the famous Formula Ford Festival - held initially at Snetterton, but mostly at Brands Hatch - was held in October 2021. This montage depicts some of the winners from Ian Taylor in 1972 to Rory Smith in 2020. Other winners shown are Gerrit van Kouwen, Wayne Boyd, Vincenzo Sospiri, Joey Foster, Niall Murray, Tommy Byrne, Richard Morgan, Eddie Irvine, Johnny Herbert and Jenson Button, with the sorely missed Brands commentator Brian Jones. Commissioned for use as a 50th anniversary print.

'Alan Bowles'
Two colours - the same car. At the top Alan Bowles makes his Formula Ford debut in his Elden Mk10 at Thruxton in 1987. Below at Brands Hatch in 1988. Alan remains a great supporter of Formula Ford, involved behind the scenes in administration and running events for Kent engined FF1600 cars.

'25 Years of the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch'
Painted in 2000 to commemorate the 25-years of the Festival at Brands Hatch, since the move from Snetterton in 1976. This montage depicts some of the winners from Derek Daly in his Hawke in 1976 to Anthony Davidson and Danica Patrick scoring a 1-2 for Haywood Racing in 2000. The painting was commissioned by some members of the Formula Ford community led by Mike 'Fulmar' Taylor, who wanted to have something special to present to the voice of Brands Hatch, commentator Brian Jones who had commentated on every Festival at Brands, he adored the event.
