'Michigan 500'

Rick Mears winning the 1991 'Marlboro 500' on the high speed Michigan Speedway. In his Marlboro Team Penske PC20-Chevrolet he averaged 167mph during the 3-hour race.

'Little Al'

Al Unser Jr. winning the 1990 'Molson Indy' in Exhibition Place in Toronto, Canada. He tamed the wet conditions to emerge victorious in his Galles-KRACO Racing Lola T90/00 Ilmor-Chevrolet.

'The Greatest Victory'

Jim Clark making history with victory in the 1965 Indy 500. In his works Lotus 38, powered by a Ford V8 he set a new fastest speed, the first win for Ford and the first win for a rear engined car at the Brickyard.

In the presence of Jim Clark's Lotus 38 Ford, with Edsel Ford II and Bobby Unser, Dan Gurney is presented with one of the limited edition prints of

'The Greatest Victory'.

The director of the Henry Ford museum made the presentation on behalf of the Ford Motor Co. at Pebble Beach in 2010. It was Dan Gurney who persuaded Colin Chapman of Lotus to enter the Indy 500.


'Alonso leads at Indy'

At his first attempt, Formula One star Fernando Alonso came close to winning the 2017 Indy 500 in his McLaren backed Andretti Autosport car. Sadly with just 20-laps to go his Honda engine expired.

'Emmo's 500 1989'

Emerson Fittipaldi winning the 1989 Indy 500 in a dramatic finish! During a wheel-to-wheel duel, Al Unser Jr. spun out after the pair touched. 'Emmo' was a popular victor in his Patrick Racing Penske PC18-Chevrolet. The first foreign driver to win at the Brickyard since 1966.

The March 84C-Cosworth of Bobby Rahal winning the 'Quinn's Cooler 300k' Monterey CART Grand Prix at Laguna Seca in 1984.

Reigning F1 World Champion Nigel Mansell winning at Nazareth in 1993 in his Newman-Haas Racing Lola T93/00, to win the CART Indycar Championship at his first attempt.

'Back in Victory Lane'

In 1992 Michael Andretti won at Portland in his Newman-Haas Racing Lola T92/00-Ford Cosworth. 

Commissioned by Newman-Haas to commemorate the return of Ford power to the winner's circle.

This painting was used as the cover

for the official Indycar PC game.

Pato O'Ward


Mexican Pato O'Ward claimed pole position in the Road America Indycar race in 2020, in his Arrow McLaren SP entry. His best result to date finishing runner-up to Rosenqvist.

'JPM Champion 99'

Juan-Pablo Montoya heads for victory at Mid-Ohio in 1999 in his 'Target' Chip Ganassi Racing Reynard-Honda. He won the CART Championship at his first attempt.    

Commissioned by Montoya, one of 17 individual paintings he commissioned to present to his Ganassi crew.
